Golden Address Kemish, 99 of Meriden died peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Midstate Medical Center, Meriden with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kemish. Golden was born in Milton, Vermont on September 18, 1920, a daughter of the late Cephus and Stella Bidwell Boardman. She had resided in Connecticut since 1940, and in Meriden since 1967. Golden loved traveling with her husband Joe, camping with their RV, and fishing. She was an accomplished painter, and enjoyed bowling. She also enjoyed sewing, and designed many outfits over the years for her family. Golden is survived by a daughter, Susan Willett and her husband Raymond of Wallingford, two sons, Robert Johnson and his wife Rose of Fiskdale, MA and Floyd Johnson and his wife Joan of Spring Hill, FL one step-daughter, Donna Mule and her husband Vincent of Meriden, one step-son Joseph Kemish and his wife Patricia of Plantsville, nine grandchildren, Dawn (Robert) Jones, Scott Ferland, Billy Joe Johnson, David Johnson, Jason (Kerri) Kemish, Brian (Melissa) Kemish, Matthew (Liza) Kemish, Thomas (Tammy) Mule and Andrew (Shelly) Mule, and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Floyd Sweeny Johnson, one sister, Kathleen Bernal, and two brothers, Cephus and Roy Boardman. Golden's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
