Eddie "Action Jackson" Jackson, 75 of Conway, Arkansas, formerly of New Haven, CT died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, August 12, 2019. He was the beloved husband of forty nine years to Lavinia "Virginia" Jackson of West Haven, CT. Eddie was born in Dumas, AR on June 13, 1944, a son of the late Theodore and Willa Mae (Jones) Jackson. He had lived in New Haven for most of his life, and had resided in Conway for the past year. Eddie was a machinist for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of North Haven, CT for more than forty years, retiring in 2009. His passion in life was motorcycles. He loved to ride, and was a longtime member of the Soul Seekers Motorcycle Club of New Haven. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Marla Hall and Carla Warren of Conway, AR, Elaine Diane Jackson of West Haven and Eureka Doreen Jackson of New Haven, two sons, Eddie Dean Jackson and his wife Teah, and Joseph Michael Jackson of Hamden, one step-daughter, Lisa Gardener and her husband Andre, also of Hamden, one sister, Bernestine Williams of Sacramento, CA, three brothers, William Jackson and his wife Shirley of South Carolina, Joseph Lee Jackson of New Haven, and George Jackson and his wife Denny of Hartford, CT, and fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eddie's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 27th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Agape Christian Center, 90-100 Goffe St., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. Willa Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
