Christopher Franco

Christopher Franco, 18 of New Haven died suddenly at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Friday, July 26, 2019 from injuries sustained earlier in a motor vehicle accident. Christopher was born in Hartford on June 30, 2001, a beloved son of Avelino and Piedad Monroy Franco and was a lifelong New Haven resident. He was a 2018 graduate of Common Ground High School of New Haven. He is also survived by his sister Julyanna Franco and two brothers, Miguel and Carlos Granda, all of New Haven, his maternal grandparents Agustin Monroy and Elvia Palacio of Medellin, Colombia, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Avelino Franco, Sr. and Irene Vega Franco .Christopher's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 31 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
