Celia Santana Martinez

Celia Santana Martinez, 86 of New Haven, formerly of Guyanabo, Puerto Rico died suddenly at Yale-New Haven hospital on Sunday, June 30, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Neftali Ramos Rivera. Celia was born in Cataño, Puerto Rico on September 26, 1932, a daughter of the late Enrique Santana and the late Juana Martinez. She had lived in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico for most of her life before moving to New Haven seven years ago. Celia is survived by two daughters, Sonia Ramos Santana and her husband Luís Acevedo of New Haven and Celia Ramos of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, one sister, Germana Santana of Guaynabo, one brother, Fernando Santana of Florida, six grandchildren, Angel Luís Rivera, Lauré Rivera, Linosa Acevedo, and Ashley, Juan Pablo and Leishla Santiago, and five great-grandchildren, Yarilis and Dianelis Moreno, Anieleys Santiago, and Joelaniys and Jonuelle Cintrón.
