Bethzaida Santiago Obituary

Bethzaida Pagan Santiago, 52 of New Haven died peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. She is the wife of Eliezer Santiago, Sr. Bethzaida was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on February 4, 1964, a daughter of Salvador and Martha Iris Rivera Pagan of Ponce. She moved from Ponce to Staten Island, NY in 1989 where she resided until 1998 when she moved with her family to New Haven. Bethzaida is also survived by a daughter, Lizbethy Dorta and her husband Gregory Dorta of Meriden, three sons, Eliezer Santiago, Jr. of New Haven, Christian Santiago and his fiancé Nilda Melendez of Meriden, and Jaime Santiago and his wife Damaris Vargas of Waterbury. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Hadelyz Dorta, Gregory Dorta, Jr., Lizbethy N. Dorta, Jermaine Eliezer Santiago, Gabriel Melendez, and Ariel Melendez.
