About Washington Memorial
The Washington Memorial Funeral Home opened in 1994.
Upon High School graduation, founder John Iacobucci enrolled in Mortuary College at the American Academy/McAllister Institute of Funeral Services for professional training. There, he developed his own vision of what a funeral home should be, and in 1993 began the long process of designing and receiving approval of a 9500 square foot funeral home in North Haven. Featuring cathedral ceilings and a church-like serenity, the home is designed to help soothe and comfort the bereaved during a time of loss.
Instead of converting a conventional residential home, we used the services of an architect and interior designer to create a funeral home designed specifically to honor the deceased and comfort their family and friends. Washington Memorial is a beautifully designed facility with utmost attention to detail. we take pride in our utmost attention to every detail of the decor and the funeral services, in order to make the experience as smooth as possible for the bereaved. We bring over 100 years of combined experience to a clean, spacious and comforting funeral home.
